It sounds like you made the MR Rescue CD ...good... but you never actually made the Image for the Rescue USB to use to Restore the system unfortunately. You Skipped some steps on that list perhaps ?

OK thanks, I'll deal with it on the weekend, unfortunately I'll be without a pc for a few days as this is taking a long time and right now I feel like putting the pc in the bin.

    Thank you

I replaced the HDD with a SSD
    - so do you still have the HDD with Win10 on it?

Yes probably, it wasn't very straightforward, at least for me, I think I messed up and I'm paying for it, that will serve me as a lesson.

Making the Full C: / Drive or Windows Backup was Step 1 on my list , should I somehow make it Clearer ? sorry if that is my Fault.....

The MCT Tool will create the Win10 Install USB for you , a 8GB key will do if you have one , takes about an Hr to download the 4GB file and make the Key , it can also be used for your emergency USB Key in the future if needed, to Boot the system and do startup repairs etc from.

You should really have an external drive to do MR Backup Images too , something like the WD Passport 1TB or 2TB (recommend) Drives.

I never said it was your fault, I didn't follow the instructions and I messed up, I should have prepared better for this.
Never mind, I have all my files on externals, what I'm losing is my programs which I will reinstall.
So I switched off the pc, reboot it and the W10 install is going smooth, I chose the install without keeping any files.
So this will be a fresh and clean windows 10, correct?
If hopefully it is successful, what is the best way to make a back up? Macrium Reflect, Acronis image back up, or Windows recovery tool? Or all of them? I'm thinking to get another 120gb SSD and clone the current one to it and keep it safe somewhere.
Now ideally is to make a back after I have installed my frequently used programs, that way if this happens again I'll have all my programs backed up.

No you didn't but I now realise you are perhaps Spanish (Flag) , so perhaps my instructions weren't clear enough to easily follow which I would fix if so?

Ahhhh you have externals , that is where you should of made the MR Backup too , as long as you do that regularly ( schedule it for every 3 days for eg) you will be fine, no need for another SSD .

I use MR , Acronis did have issues in Win10 , I am not sure about now as I have used MR for about 2 yrs now...

Another good free App is MiniTool Partition Wizard 9 , it will make a rescue USB too for you if you have a spare one.

No I am not Spanish, I live in Spain...
Your instructions were clear enough, it was me who didn-t do things correctly
Anyway, W10 has now been reinstalled on my PC, the partitions are not how they should look which is why I wanted to reinstall ten at the first place, so I will post a photo on my other thread about partition layout.

    Thanks for your help

    Thank you again
