    Install

I fear putting Windows 10 on my PC. Tell me it will be fine and Boot and I will.
    Currently:
Samsung XP941 256GB PCIe 2.0 x4 SSD is my current boot drive. Did they fix the issue loading from PCIe ssd 2.0?

I do know that I can make a thumb drive boot disk with windows 8, but not sure I can do that with a downloaded version of Windows 10.

It should work fine you can make a bootable usb or dvd but to get your free copy which runs out soon you must upgrade so you cant boot just run the media creation tool http://www.thewindowsclub.com/window...-media-upgrade and upgrade you then have 30 days to role back if needed

I'm not sure what your concern is.

My two desktops both have PCI-E SSD boot drives. I'd be less worried about Windows issues than BIOS ones. If you're already booting from the XP941, there should be no problem.

Bootable USB install devices are common. Are you aware of the tutorial section here?

Personally I use Diskpart. It's a command line utility, but fairly simple to use. Its main drawback is that you can accidentally wipe the wrong partition.
