    Unable to install WIN 10

My 8.1 WIN installation indicates that I have 2.47 G of ram installed. When I use WIN 10 Installation Assistant to perform the installation, it indicates that I have insufficient ram and that 2 G is required. How can I do the installation.

Hi svartavikingar and welcome to Tenforums.

I had an older Toshiba laptop with the same Turion processor and 2GB RAM, and I installed W10 32-bit during the Tech Preview program, so I know it can be done. That machine is still running W10Pro in the Insider Program now, but I have increased the RAM to 4GB (of which, 32-bit sees slightly less).

Are you running 32 or 64 bit?
Can you give us a screenshot of Task Manager's Performance Tab, with Memory selected? (see below)

Perhaps you should try running Memtest86+ to see if your RAM is failing.
