How to backup Windows 10 upgrade

I purchased windows 8.1 and got free upgrade to Windows 10. Now my question is if I want to reinstall my OS then I only have Win 8.1 disk with me, what should I do ?. Is there any way to backup the Windows 10 upgrade or else I will have to spend long hours downloading the Win 10 upgrade all over again ?
Or If I have purchased a Windows 10 for a different system , can I use that disk in any way ?

Hello Roshant, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

Since you upgraded to Windows 10, you could use the method in the tutorial below to create a Windows 10 ISO file.

ESD to ISO - Create Bootable ISO from Windows 10 ESD File

Afterwards, you could create a Windows 10 installation USB from the ISO file.

And if you don't have the upgrade files still on your computer, you can download the Windows 10 ISO file from Microsoft and create a Windows 10 USB flash drive or DVD from that.

Better yet, do an image backup to an external hard drive. No reinstall required, just restore the image and you're done, 20 minutes or so start to finish.

You just need to image backup windows 10 in your usb drive or other devices . When needed, you can restore your whole system.
