OEM:NONSLP (NSLP ... Non System Locked Pre-installation):
Similar to retail product key, but distributed and supported by an OEM.
Non-SLP product key is also not brand specific.
End-users are required to perform activation by phone or activate online.
Dusty100 might have to phone MS and explain the Win10 upgrade difficulties. I recall something similar about activation issues back on SevenForums. Having a MGdiag would be handy
i didnt originally, only when others chipped in and said it wasnt required.
just thought, oh well

The MGdiag isn't important to me - just might be handy for Peter to have when he calls MS
The OEM_COA_NSLP (Non System Locked Pre-installation) license is unique in that it's like an OEM_SLP and it's like a Retail license.
I really think MS will have to address this - and they're really good when people call in with legitimate issues. They ask a few questions, then give you the answer in a few minutes.
This is old, but it might still be true.

Hi
Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.
Thank you for your interest in Windows 10 Technical Preview.
As of now we do not have any updates on NSLP licenses but I would suggest you to visit the below link Windows Feature Suggestions and keep yourself updated.

Hope this information helps, please post us any issue related to Windows we will be glad to help you.
Thank you.
If you install Windows 10 onto a clean, reformatted hard drive you will not need a key, ever, period. To activate you will. If you have a Windows 7 LEGITIMATE key, and it does not work, and you have installed the correct version of Windows 10 according to your Windows 7 version, then CALL MICROSOFT, and they will make it work. I had to do that with a friend's computer. Her key was legitimate, and should have worked. Microsoft made it work. It took a bit, and I had to speak with a person, but they made it work.
