I have attempted several to no avail.
Yes it did. I did have the choice of selecting "I am the owner" but then it asked to create a user then it got the same error.

Edit- Looks like only the pro version has a 10041 ISO available right now

Download is a little slow but half way complete.
I get the same damned error message 'Something went wrong' after signing in with Microsoft Account and then at the account creation screen.
I'm befuddled...
You could try formatting your drive as one partition (clutching at straws). During install when you get to the Where do you want to install Windows screen press Shift + F10 and enter the following commands in bold (pressing enter after each one) in the command prompt window that appears.
diskpart
select disk 0
clean
convert mbr
create partition primary
select partition 1
format quick fs=ntfs label="Windows"
assign letter=C
active
exit
quit
Then just click on next and carry on (I'm assuming your laptop is bios not eufi).
