Oh yeah, I see lots of "where is Pro" posts. The other gotcha is if the checkbox for "use the recommended options for this PC" is checked. That will change the options based on what OS the PC your downloading on is running.

You need to download just plain "Windows 10".
Thanks for bearing with me. I think I just might have selected 'Home Single Language' at the point of downloading the install media . I am now downloading the 'Windows 10' one.

Lots of people have made the same mistake. You should be all set now.

Good support guys... I do wish MS will get over Single Language like they did with Bing edition...

Mark, you can try to run DISM /Online /Get-TargetEditions from command prompt - if it lists Home you can upgrade directly with the generic Win Home key as well... altho' a fresh iso (that includes Home) may be better for future installs.

markweatherill, did you download Windows 10 from Tech Bench?
I downloaded it using MediaCreationTool, which had automatically chose the appropriate version.

Yes, and no? If your not downloading it on the PC you plan to install on, you can end up with the wrong version. Or if you already have the wrong version installed, it will just download that same version all over again. It's a nice feature, but it has pitfalls/gotchas.

At last - I installed Windows 10, at no point did it ask me for a product key, and it's finished up with Windows 10 Home, activated.
    Phew!
    A learning experience. Thanks all!

(The installation media was created using the Media Creation Tool, create USB media for another computer option. And made sure to choose 32-bit for this tablet)
