Combining 2 Partitions in Windows 10 on new laptop
When I recently purchased a VAIO Z from the MicrosoftStore I specified a 1TB SSD, however the drive came with two partitions, namely C and E. See picture attached. I want to combine the 2 partitions into one big one leaving the system partition and the recovery partition untouched.
The E drive is currently empty except for two files.
I have several partitioning apps that I could use. I am thoroughly unfamiliar with windows 10, but have experience with 7, Vista, XP, 2000, 3.5, 3.0, 2.11 and DOS 2 to 6.
Would there be any risk to the operating system, the system and recovery partition recovery if I do combine the C and E partitions? I do have a full image backup on an external 2TB drive, and also a USB PE drive and a USB recovery stick.
I don’t want to screw up the laptop so I thought I should seek council first.
