...or restore it from a backup you made prior to the upgrade...

A consistent message from all, so will do it soon. Didn't know about Macrium, so that is a plus. I may purchase the Home version, as it does incremental changes and "item level recovery." Data is mostly on other drives, so will back up some of the important items such as Favorites and such, product keys, etc.

I am not sure what you meant in regards to Win 10 Home " incremental changes and item level recovery."

Looking at your system specs, I assume you have Windows 7 Pro or higher.
If so, you will be entitled to a free upgrade to Win 10 Pro.

Please use the link below to see the difference between Home and Pro versions.

He was referring to purchasing Macrium Reflect to get the added features of the paid version.

Thank you. But what has that to do with Windows 10 Home ?
He said : I may purchase the Home version, as it does incremental changes and "item level recovery.

There is a " home" version in Macrium Reflect ?
And I thought he meant Windows 10 Home version ?

Yes, do it now. Or you might forget and the free upgrade is gone. I will make you appreciate Windows 10 more like @davidhk said.

Yes, that is correct. I have Windows 7 Ultimate right now.
