hanging on upgrade from 14291 to 14295?

keeps hanging at 22% progress (still in the copying files phase).
    powered off.
it rebooted and reverted to 14291.
then i restart the process again and eventually ends up back at the 22% problem.

    Anyone else having this issue?

What can I do or just wait for the next one?

    Thanks.

No guarantees, but this appears on a Microsoft Answers thread:

and 12 users have found it helpful:

Since you have rolled back to 14291, just open an admin command prompt and type:

    bootrec /rebuildbcd

    then repeat the upgrade attempt.

The logic to this is that at about 22-25%, it's unclear exactly when, because some fast machines zip thru this part of setup, and the next reboot to 30% occurs. If the first bit of setup has corrupted the BCD, or cannot work with the existing BCD due to some problem, it cannot continue to the reboot, so it rolls back, reverting the BCD to the backup BCD - (which will not work with setup!)

Break the cycle by rebuilding the BCD. Then re-run the upgrade.
