moblie broadband & setting 10TP up after install

I have only been able to use 10TP when I upgrade my laptop from seven, because it carries over the installed programs and .NET stuff.
When I try to clean install(what I'd really like to do), after everything is setup, I try to install my Vodafone k3772-z surf stick(my only internet possibility till now) but installation fails because .NET 3.5 needs to be installed and to do that I need an internet connection to download it, because some Hero at Microsoft decided to leave the .NET programs out.
For some reason I've been getting Boot Crashes(BSOD) with the upgrade reimaging even to the very first upgrade point. Even a fresh upgrade from the seven image causes problems, so I thought I'd go the clean install route, but as you see no go.
It's so odd in seven I was able to install my surf stick but not on 10TP. Just more proof the Microsoft has lost a lot of good people lately thru attrition, firing or being stolen from the competition.
By my specs I actually shouldn't be having any problems with 10, it's taken everything I could throw at it..

Didn't work. But I probably could download to usb on my desktop and plug in my laptop, but first I'm going to do it the hard way and experiment a little more with the upgrade side of things(already 6 times and I'm getting really good at it now:)) I like to try different things. Right now because of boot crashes(BSOD @ boot) I'm re-upgrading from 7 w/o Samsung Magician installed because I know that there is a compatibility problem(pop-ups asking if I want to close magician and if I don't it won't go away till I do) so maybe it's RAPID Mode causing them because starts up around boot time.

It's just one would think that a one size fits all OS would have the .NET already activated/turned on, otherwise how can someone like me even finish setting up? I do have a good working system image from my very first install of 9926 I'm just troubleshooting different possibilities now, that's how I learn best, Hands-on.

So now I'm on my 7th upgrade(have 6 upgrades and 2 clean installs behind me).
This time before the upgrade, I uninstalled all things I don't need with 10TP, such as Bing Desktop or the ASMedia USB3.0 driver(10 has one) and other things specially Magician and RAPID Mode(which I believe causes boot crashing.
I haven't installed manufacture drivers yet and I think this time I'll try the generic drivers, because I've gotten BSOD's after installing the OEMs before, for example the Synaptic touchpad driver for 8.19 this being a Win7 laptop I have to be careful even though ASUS as drivers for Win8, not all PCs the same model have the same hardware as everyone knows, different CPUs or memory...etc. but right now it's working good and could even finally update Store beta.
Now I'm making an Macrium image of it then all Hell can break loose and I can install my drivers.

Ok now I have update installed part of my OEM drivers(Video, sound, ATK package and KBfilter rebooting after each one instead of just once after all were installed) I'll watch some TV and give them and Windows a bit of time to settle in and make system changes before shutting down for the night. Then tomorrow morning if all boots well I'll make a system image 1st thing, then I´ll update install the rest one by one(only needed ones).

So I made my image this morning and continued with the rest 1x1, those requiring reboots I did immediately instead of after all were installed. When it came time for Synaptics touchpad I made another image before hand(very wise it turned out) because it was/is a problem child on 10TP.
After installing Synaptics I got repeated BSODs on reboot, so I reimaged and I just use the default windows driver. I never use the touchpad anyhow, preferring a mouse, because my hands always brush it when typing and no matter the palm settings it moves the cursor.
Next I'll try Samsung Magician and see if it is also a stability problem specially RAPID Mode.I prefer to use Magician for TRIM and Garbage Collection then Windows Drive Optimizer.

OK Samsung Magician & Rapid mode is not an option. After installing Magician the next reboot BSOD'd.
So the verdict is for Windows 10TP, when upgrading from Window 7, it is easier is to upgrade than a clean install if you're using mobile broadband-for now we have to use the Windows 8 drivers from the OEM's until they update them to Windows 10 -use Windows 10's own touchpad driver and not Synaptics(BSOD)- as for Samsung SSD users uninstall Magician before upgrading(again BSOD).
This was all done with the laptop in my system specs.
I hope this helps anyone upgrading from a Windows 7 PC.
Right now my laptop is running smoothly w/o any problems except that mobile broadband sets Windows update/download to "Metered Connection" and in 10 I can't find a setting to change that like you can in 8.1.

I found the answer to my clean install .NET problem in the Microsoft Community. BIG BIG KUDOS to Kevin Wol:

    This is the command I used;

    DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:d:\sources\sxs

Where the Source:d was the dvd I used to do the tech review installation (d: should be the drive with the windows 10 tech review installation software)

Gabriel Aul‏@GabeAul Nov 19 @helipetr This is a WU code for Metered Networks, WU is designed not to download over metered to prevent expensive data charges. Try wired.
After searching and searching Microsoft Community I found out why I'm not able to receive updates, even though I have my mobile broadband set to "Not Metered" and all the updater fixes fail.
I hope this helps other surfstick users that are on the verge of meltdown like I was, thinking I lost my MOJO, It's not us-it's hard coded that way.

    A possible fix is:

metered connection This may help you to become unmetered on your wireless connection

I found if I connect via Ethernet then go to network and internet in the settings app click on Ethernet then show available networks right click your wireless and set to unmetered, disconnected re acquired my wireless and have been able to download updates since. this worked for me

    hope this helps
I don't have Ethernet, so I'm going to see if he just means settings & not actual Ethernet. I have to reimage 10TP back(went back to Win7 on laptop after not being able to upgrade or update 9926 two days ago. Wish me luck.

So I did a clean install and now I'm running
    Code:
    DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /All /LimitAccess /Source:d:\sources\sxs
to activate .NET 3.5 so I can use my surfstick. Of course I won't expect to be able to update windows, but I should be able to update Defender at least.
