    possible partition damage after Windows 10 uninstall?


    I have no idea why (at least I think I have partitions) that either have been not fully been removed by Windows 10 and now it is damaging my Windows 8.1 install ..am I thinking this is correct, and if it is, how can i fix this? Matt

    I notice you have the HP Assistant there... This tool does updates itself, and is probably not Windows 10 compatible. It could be related to your problems... I would do a clean Windows 10 install. At this point, back up everything you have then wipe your entire disk.
