Download the pre-SP1 version of Windows 7 Professional from the website. Extract the ISO files. Delete the ei.cfg file from the sources directory and the installer will ask you which version of Windows 7 you want to install.

win7 found that out with the Alpha stages of 7 way back when before the first public beta release was out. Unlock ALL Versions in your Windows 7 Build 7000 ISO - Windows 7 Help Forums

First you have to locate the non SP1 download link however since a look at both sites only sees the 7 with SP1 links for each edition. in both 32/64bit flavors. But with any non SP1 iso you can turn around and slipstream SP1 into the new one made up and be able to use the early keys. You can download the Windows 7 ISOs:

See here: Download Windows 7 ISOs, Legally and for Free

Also available here: Microsoft DigitalRiver Mirror (Technet)
Hope you speak as well as read and write in one of the 26 languages! The download page you arrive at sees just that Home Premium, Pro, Ultimate editions all with SP1 and in both 32bit/64bit flavors but none in English! I went to download a 64bit Pro with SP1 iso after entering the 7 Ultimate key and found none in English! Will try the 7 Pro key as well but not expecting any change since MS dumped 7 in 2015 from all sales in order to promote 10.

Most people I know speak several languages - up to 5. So I don't really see a problem.

does dell and windows 10 have issues with each other
Mine certainly did (Dell Vostro 3750 originally with W7 Pro).

A 100% clean install however worked beautifully and W10 really flies along. Without formatting the drive first though, and it was a total disaster. Upgrade installs failed as did clean installing over the existing install. Format the drive and it worked first time.

I have no explanation for why this happened.

That's nice! But it doesn't apply to everyone! Otherwise we would never have any mistakes being seen during translations! Unfortunately the bulk of the world's population typically will be found to speak either one language native only or have learned a second like English being rated the easiest to learn. Not everyone becomes a linguistics experts however and will need the download in what they can read and write in. Me speakedy the Engla com pron da'?

The Fact is however is that MS is no longer going to providing the recovery downloads for the previous versions with their present focus on seeing everybody upgraded to 10! The lastest IE update isn't for any security issues but a new avenue to promote 10 IE users on 7, 8, and 8.1 will now be running into! Not when I entered the Ultimate pre SP1 key you wouldn't! That's why I said I would have to enter the 7 Pro with SP1 key from the media bought back in 2013 for the remote pc I put together from spare parts at first but updated since.

That isn't the same site I was referring to earlier as well as on another thread. The site there uses a torrent file while the site I was referring asked for a product key before you can download anything. The page I was referring is found at: Windows 7

The RT Torrent is available free at the MS Store if you don't already have a torrent program that will be needed for this.

So the post you made immediately after my post where I provided two links to Win 7 downloads has nothing to do with either of them, right? I was getting very confused as it sounded like you could not find English Ultimate.

The Ultimate torrents there are strictly SP1 unlike what you see for the Home Premium and Pro editions that see both 32bit and 64bit downloads without or with SP1 as the options. Remember a pre-SP1 key won't work on the download that saw SP1 included just like the newer SP1 keys won't work on a pre SP1.

That's one I can is now a favorable change seen with 10 since there won't be any more service packs! Instead a newer build will simply arrive by way of the WU. That will then go on just like it was another SP but be the newer build instead later followed by more patches.

That other site required that you enter a valid product key for the limited number of download options and were all found to be in those other 26 languages. It wasn't what was needed here for sure! and something you wouldn't want to trust so easily if you follow that meaning?! Meanwhile I was just about to set up a new 7 VM to see about the "dvd" and "dvd u" seen in the different links still not being 7 N downloads. It seems both the regular and N editions either see or don't see the letter "U" added in.

Update on the VM: So far the download without the letter U in the file name looks like any other normal 7 install. The folders seen in the ISO itself once downloaded and opened to view look as they would on a usb stick.

    back to seven-dr-mirror-w7-pro-vm.jpg

I won't be able to activate the VM however since the Pro key is in use on the other desktop! Next will be the "dvd u" download to see if there is anything to be concerned about. The U is in there for some reason.
