While it's true that HP has not tested your PC for Win10 (they have a site link where you can check that), nonetheless, they DO have Win10 drivers for it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/.../model/6454639

IF that page does not show Win10 when you open it, then click on Change and select Win10.

So, I don't know why they would not have tested it but yet, have produced Win10 drivers. That is unusual for HP.
    Hi there

simply backup your system and install W10 --it runs fine on most laptops --the W8/W8.1 driver will probably work for any real funny driver that Windows can't find.

Too many people unfortunately just go on these types of messages --I mean (not wishing to cause any offence here) do you really think that Ms has tested W10 on every possible laptop out there. Windows 10 works on devices I'll bet Ms hadn't even heard about. Sony also hasn't tested many laoptops on W10 -- they've pulled out unfortunately of the laptop market - but they did make some quite decent stuff. Loads of Sony laptops run W10 just fine too.

Just try installing --if it doesn't work then a few minutes work restoring. !!!

Do though keep your OS partition separate from Data.

    Cheers

I did a clean install and as expected it works, it has problems when trying to wake after sleeping, I have loaded the latest intel, Hp and Microsoft drivers, still same problem. No doubt some one will fix it soon. My OS and Data have always been seperate. Fortunaltly I had already found out that my copy of True Image does not work with Win10 so had use macrium reflective, a very good product, which I might just buy.
