I can't install Windows from USB or CD/DVD

Whenever I put in USB or CD/DVD they don't show up in boot options... USB once showed and when I pressed on it, it said something like there is no Windows installation on this hardware, but there is. I need help again

Did you use the Windows Media Creation Tool to create the USB or DVD media?

There is more than likely an NTFS partition of the USB flash drive and you are trying to boot it in UEFI mode - which will not work on most computers. You need to disable safe boot and enable legacy BIOS or CSM mode booting. However, if you do that, Windows 10 will install in legacy BIOS mode, which is less than ideal on a UEFI computer.

Did it work? You need to find out exactly what format the USB flash drive is. Is it MBR or GPT? Is it NTFS or FAT32? If it is MBR, is the partition marked as active?

Are you trying to boot by just putting the flash drive in and turning it on, or are you using an F-key to get into the boot override menu?

Is Windows running on the computer? Are you wanting to Upgrade from the USB or DVD? If Upgrading one can open File Explorer, go to the USB or DVD and look for setup.exe, double-click to start the Upgrade/install which should allow keeping data and maybe programs. A clean install does usually require booting to the drive.
