Once you have done a clean install a few times it will tend to become second nature after a point however. It's more the time involved as to why some people might get a bit reluctant at times to go for broke with a fresh copy of Windows. At the moment I am still setting up a new 10 laptop ordered to replace a 7 laptop that was upgraded to 10 with apparently a failed integrated graphics chip. It wasn't one where you could simply add in a separate video card as the upper series or typical gaming model might see.

No you wouldn't want anything N or K on the end just Windows 10 unless being an upgrade from a previous N or K distribution. And when seeing the Windows 10 Single language that is strictly US English and 32bit only! You wouldn't want that one either!

You next option besides that and the language will be for the location and 32, 64, or both. This is how the MC Tool is downloading 10 at the moment I will be saving to a flash drive as simply an iso download since I already have the TH2 media made up but for anything needed on the go. I selected the 64bit not 32bit or dual showing the tool is presently detecting the main build here while I left the box for "this pc" unchecked since the iso will be able to be used on any machine.

Presently at 35% in just a few minutes while posting this reply showing how fast it will download at this time. I am waiting to see if the burn to dvd option appears since it now at 77% hasn't prompted for see the usb media made up when selecting the download not immediate upgrade option. It immediately started downloading the 10 iso to the destination folder selected unlike what you would have previously seen with the July release of the 10240 build or when the TH2 was first out or simply from having selected the Dual option rather then 64bit.

Well no it will take a few being at 96% but nothing new since I ... now 97% going on... but at least is going right to the flash drive while I could have downloaded direct to the laptop. That already has 10 and the latest updates on however while I will keep it there with the MC Tool as well just in case. 99% and you are certainly most welcome!

See Post #4 for Corrected information edited in there as far as downloading 10 with the updated Media Creation tool as far as options, the automatic detection and individual selection made for you, and reference to how to choose otherwise at Tech Bench when not downloading for the machine you are on but for other machines.

You can always go for the 64bit iso download at the Tech Bench Upgrade Program linked in Option One in the guide there to get out from under the automatic detection of the wrong machine being the one you are only using for the download. I ran into this earlier when going to download on the main machine being 10 Pro while the new laptop is the 64bit 10 Home edition there due the TH2 being an update type of installer that insures the correct upgrade path.

When you first arrive at the Tech Bench page there you run into the Select edition button choosing the "Windows 10" option which when confirmed brings you to the next screen actually as the page expands inplace for selecting the product language where you want English most likely being what should be listed by MS there as English(US) or the other English International option for the second more or less more UK like for how various spellings are seen.

Under Downloads you now have the two links for 32bit and 64bit to pick from which immediately prompts to Open with or Save File where you can choose the Save File option and browse to the destination folder. Instead of that being "Windows.iso" instead it will already be named "Win 10_1511_English_x64.iso" being the dual 64bit Home/Pro iso rolled up together. Note what then changes in the notation seen below those two download buttons.

Once you boot live you then will simply choose which edition to put on since the iso will be strictly 64bit being downloaded as a file without anything MS running like the MC tool which was updated to detect what people are running as part of the update or upgrade being seen with the TH2. That helps to know as long as it comes out ok! Another option however would be to make up the "4 in 1" media with the 16gb flash drive you have and simply follow the thread that came on how to go about seeing this done! Even with the TH2 you can still download the pair of dual Home/Pro iso images in both 32/64 flavors to see those combined when the TH2 was first available however you would have seen the 5.48gb combination already made up for you where you simply make the selections as the installation proceeds rather then be running into this now.

The one thing to note about the discussion on the thread is this was originally posted back in August while the 10240 saw four options in two flavors when going to pick out the 32/64 choice as well as language, type of edition, and which edition in single flavor or dual iso. The project took the 10240 dual Pro(32/64) and saw the two 32bit and 64bit Pro and Home combo images downloaded and extracted the contents from each of those ISO's 32bit and 64bit folders that replaced the files in the Pro dual already written to the 8gb or 16gb size flash drive using the larger drive when not having an 8gb. The 5 o 6 pages there end with several screens I had posted as well as the information at the time being updates as far as how the download options were changed. The method still works however. You will note the OP's comment about the MC tool then downloading a 4 in 1 already set to. Without a non 10 machine to verify a live boot you only see the two flavor options at this time where you simply select the 64bit and should be all set to go.
