    Help with dual boot

Hey everyone, I currently have a hard drive with Windows 10 installed on it, and I want to dual boot it with an older version like Windows 7 or XP. (Just for nostalgia:p)
Microsoft said to install the older one first or my computer would be screwed, but the newer one is already installed. Any help? Plus this is my first time on the Ten Forums. :)))

You can always run the older OS in a VM environment. That way you don't have to re-install 10 to get the OS order correct.

Just create an empty partition formatted NTFS for Windows 7 and install to it. It will set up dual booting on it's own just fine. But you have to have a separate license for the Windows 7 - not the one that you used to upgrade to Windows 10 with (or a separate license for the Windows 10). Otherwise you will be violating the EULA (End Users License Agreement).

Thank you. I have a legit copy and product key of Win 7. I just wasn't sure if my computer would be safe. Thanks for your help!
