Fresh Install Using latest build - File Exlorer Setting?

I just had to re-install W10 using the latest build offered by the Microsoft Setup Tool because W10 on one machine became corrupted somewhere along the multiple update path! No problems, except it seems that a few of the default settings are a little different than they were in previous downloads. Most are for the better. But...I can't seem to figure out how to turn off the display of all the disk drives in the Navigation Pane of File Explorer. I have five other systems that have migrated successfully along the update path and they don't look like the screen shot attached. What or where is the setting to turn off the display of the disk drives when the "This PC" is collapsed. I'm sure it something obvious but I need a little help. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Ken,

Once you click the little dropdown arrow to the left of the Devices and drives heading it will collapse the display of those elements. This setting seems to be remembered, however, I have not tested if it is persistent after a restart.

Got that, but I'm referring to the Stuff (Disk Drives) on the left side (Navigation Pane) of the display under "Libraries". When I expand "This PC" I got them twice.

    Sorry, I misunderstood!

In the navigation pane you can right click on a blank space and deselect the option to show libraries. This will remove all libraries from the Nav menu.

Alternatively you can right click on a drive in the Library section and select don't show. A right click on the Library Header will also allow you to restore default libraries.

    Hope this helps!

Nope, turning Libraries on or off is not the issue. See below what I referring to:

    FastData_3770K
    FastStorage1_3770K
    FastStorage2_3770K
    FastStorage3_3770K
    FastStorage4_3770K

These items (Disk Drive) do not show on my other PC's when "This PC" is collapsed.
Hope this clarifies what I'm trying to communicate.

Are these drives partitions or separate HDDs installed in your PC? All the drives have a shared symbol on them indicating you are sharing them on your network. Is that correct?

These are drives and they are shared on the network but...

You seem obsessed with the right side of the File Explorer window, I'm trying to find a solution to the Navigation Pane (left side of File Explorer window). I don't know how to turn the display of the stuff in question on or off. Like I said above, the drives do not appear in the my other PC's.

The following tutorial will show you what you need to do:

Sorry for not understanding your problem earlier in this thread. What you were seeing is the default behaviour.

We finally got there! Thank you for sticking with me. Brink comes through again. The only thing I don't understand is I have six other W10 systems that I updated using the original W10 Tool download and none of them are the "Default" only the one I just did a fresh install using the latest W10 build form MS. Actually, I think I like the "Default" and will run the .reg to make them visible on the other systems. Thanks again for the help.

@Ken429 You are welcome! It did cross my mind that your other systems were the ones that needed attention. Hope you get them all working how you want.
