ISO's for Enterprise were up on MSDN same day the regular Home/Pro ISO's were? Education two. I downloaded all there the same day TH2 showed up via Windows Update. I clean installed the new Enterprise 10586 though instead of trying to upgrade. There was just Windows and Office on my laptop anyway, so no big deal to start over clean. I guess this "Now available" is for those without access to MSDN?

Looks like they have just posted the dedicated ISOs on VLSC. Volume Licensing Service Center. Why the delay to that channel I don't know? You'd think anybody that had access to that would also have access to MSDN? It looks like its still not coming down Windows Update though? That's how I read it anyway.

I agree.. enterprise users would have/should have had access to the new build already.

I would think the IT person in any descent sized company would have an MSDN subscription, even if it's just a basic one.

Guys firstly thanks very much for all your help. Please accept my apologies as I didn't realise me buying a pc from a company would be much of an issue. I don't take things to heart, so please feel free to say what you want.

I don't think it's looking very good because when I ran showkey, the oem key is not present in the firmware and also the original edition is "WIN NEXT STARTER RETAIL".

Does it say OEM Key : Windows 7 OEM Marker present in firmware? If yes I would say it was Windows 7 Starter that it came with. Is there a COA sticker on it anywhere? If it's a laptop remove the battery and look underneath it. They sometimes hide them in there. If you can find a COA sticker with a legible Product Code on it, you may be back in business. If there is no COA sticker your options are very limited.

    Hi alpha,

Unfortunately it says "oem key not present in firmware". Also no COA stickers on the computer at all.

Can you post a screen shot of the showkey screen? Just click on the product codes first so they xxxx out some of the numbers. You may be SOL and have to buy Windows 10 for it. Or look for a deal/sale on Windows 7 or 8, all you need is the Product code to install Windows 10. You can now install with Windows 7 and 8 keys.
