Thanks I will hold off, the current build is 10240, my tp was up to 10532, so it will soon be upgrading on the fast track.

This morning I got the 10547 build and it's a TP. This has led me to wonder whether an upgrade would also morph into a TP and what would happen to it when Microsoft finally finishes the insider program.

Build 10240 will not morph into a TP unless you are signed up as an insider under Settings - Updates & Security - Advanced Options.

I am signed up as an insider, and I'm not worried about loosing the TP eventually as I have three upgrades running. I was wondering if someone with an upgrade became an insider and went into the fast lane, could their W10 revert to standard when the tp's end?

Yes. If "slmgr /xpr" run at a command prompt returns "this machine is permanently activated", then whatever the permanent RTM build is (currently build 10240) should be able to be installed and not have an expiration date. The version that will activate (pro or home) depends upon which version was previously activated on that computer.
