Win10 Pro does not see installed programs on second HD drive?

Got a perfect upgrade from Win7 Pro to Win10 Pro for any programs that were on the boot disk. However any programs that were loaded on a second (non-bootable) disk were not recognized at all. Is there any way, other than reloading all those programs, to get Win10 Pro to know they are there? I thought this would be caught when the system upgraded but this did not happen. I was trying to keep my boot drive lean and mean. Otherwise I am one happy camper.

If these program were installed in Windows 7 they should of been carried over to the Win 10 upgrade. If they are portable programs, self contained and no install needed (you just create your own shortcut and or run the .exe file for them) then the shortcuts for them should of also shown up.

    What programs are they?

When I did the upgrade every program installed on my system was carried over. 99% of the program I have are installed on my D drive, not the OS system drive.

I have many programs on that D: drive. AutoCad, ImgBurn, Roxio Creator NXT, Nuance Natural Speaking 13 and many others. I just thought (maybe silly of me) that they would all appear in the APPS listings, but they are not there. I will try your suggestion to create a shortcut and see if that works. I was just puzzled. Thanks for answering my question.

Tried creating shortcuts for AutoCAD and Nuance Naturally Speaking 13 (professional) both told me to reinstall the programs. SO I guess I will have to reinstall all of them again. Not a really big deal, just threw me for a curve.

They might not be compatible with Win 10. Don't know for sure, just a guess.

Reinstalled AutoCAD and that works fine now. So just reinstalling each as I get time. I knew there would be a few things that did not make it in the upgrade, but I am very happy with Win10 Pro.
