    Taskbar Icons fubar after upgrade

OK, Windows forced an upgrade. Now, the Taskbar is almost non-existent. I can only see a sliver of it. As for icons, if I pull one to the edge of the screen, a third of it is off screen. Don't ask for a screenshot. Why? Because in the screenshot, both the Taskbar and icons appear as they should. Not as they are.

I'm using a 32" 720p TV as my monitor. Resolution is set at 1920x1080 (Recommended). Same resolution I had with 8.1

I've installed the latest display driver for my video card, AMD Radeon HD 7570. I know I can't be the only one with this problem. A buddy of mine has the exact same issue.

And, if I go full screen with the browser (Firefox), it blows off the screen. The minimize, maximize and close buttons end up being off screen.

I've searched online and what I've ran across doesn't have anything to do with the issue that I have. At this point, I'm at a loss.

    TIA

Have you tried the "Roll back driver" on Device manager>display adapters>your adapter>properties>driver tab I had to do this (roll back driver) after W10 downloaded a display driver on one of the windows updates to fix a problem, my display went back to 800x600 with that driver.

Also might try uninstalling the existing driver, rebooting, W10 should find and install a driver. It might not fix your problem but it's something to try.

Check different display resolutions to see if you can at least see the entire display, from your description, it sounds like the present video display is much bigger than the monitor.

The option to rollback driver is greyed out (can't click on it). I uninstalled then rebooted. Display looked like it's supposed to. I though, great! HA! That lasted for about 3 seconds then the display reverted back. Changed screen resolution from 1920x1080 to 1280x720 and that didn't help.

The fact the "roll back" button is greyed out tells us there is no driver to roll back to, sounds like a default driver worked and then W10 found a suitable driver and installed it causing the problem to return.

Maybe we need to look at something else, have you tried settings>system>display and detect? What does it detect? Have you gone through the advanced display settings yet?

Sorry if I'm asking things you've done already.

It may be better for you if you can go back to your previous OS installation.

I think posted a link to the tutorial with instructions for doing that in a reply to your other thread, https://www.tenforums.com/installatio...er-update.html

Here it is for this one https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4...s-windows.html
