Just another technical note: Your disk image is from a 1TB HDD and you are targeting restoring it to a 500GB SSD. Macrium Reflect can handle this restore to a smaller disk (since the actual data content of your 1TB HDD is less than 500GB) but follow the prompts in the restore carefully. Feel free to contact me as always if questions or difficulties.

A good read to check before starting is here: http://knowledgebase.macrium.com/dis...ion+properties

I wass going to read all that KNOWLEDGEBASE info from the URL above this morning - and tried to go get it, but it did not load.
** at least that time.. it did not load.. but I will try again later. It was very interesting to me using Maricum last night and how easy it was to move the different partitions around and be able to changes the sizes of a partition.

As I read and learn more - I find out just how much that I do not know. Reading is fun.

Maybe the next Macrium image file that I try to make will be a good one.
    thanks. Cliff M.

OK, Cliff - you've been through the wringer here and I appreciate the other forum members' continued patience - you're getting close to being done now that you have more options that we've been discussing offline. Pretty soon, you should be able to share how this has turned out for you. If moderators or admin think it's better, maybe they would consider splitting this thread between OP's subject and yours?
