Well now I can rest a little easier knowing that my Notebook is officially supported however there is only updates to the ATK Package and ASUS Splendid and some drivers and software can only be found on the original recovery partition thus making a clean install impossible.
Great Post and Info.
Funny though, my HP Desktop is 20 months old, when purchased from HP Store (12/13) it was pre-loaded with W8.0. Marketing material from HP highlighted the option to upgrade to W 8.1. 3 days after purchase when upgrading to 8.1 a message popped up on screen saying my PC had not been tested for W8.1. Fortunately the upgrade to went smoothly, a few glitches but nothing serious and as you might expect, HP tells me this same PC has not been tested with W10. I don't think you can rely 100% on anything any of these companies say.
I did upgrade my 6 month old HP notebook from 8.1 to 10 and except for 40-60 errors with every restart it runs OK but I sure wouldn't rely on it for my one and only PC, not yet anyway.
