Yes most questions when somebody calls for help
Me : Which computer do you have ?
    Them : I don't know, black one.
    Me: What OS ?
    Them: What's that ?
Me: OK. better bring it here, will see what I can do.
Of course, there's some haggling in between and after but I usually regret it for starting and wishing somebody would bring something newer at least once in a while. It gets even worse when a relative is at the other end.

I think the requirements will the same or less then Windows 8.1. After all low-end devices in developing markets is where the growth is. So if your machine runs 8 or 8.1, it will run 9 as good or better. If your machine handles 7, there's a good chance you'll see some improvement.

I tried to install x64 with both dual boot and virtual. I have DEP and PAE, but no NX (my Xeon is based on a hyperthreading P4). So I thought it would work too, but I guess not.
Is that the only machine you have Jody? Would you be interested in a second PC (i5, basic specs) to mess around with?

    Hi Toys:

Oh I'll find something to use. I'm working with a 32-bit VMWare session now to try Windows 8.1. I'll see if the Threshold preview comes out in an x86 flavour.
