Cancled download of 10 via Win7 Pro windows update - now what ?

It appeared Win 10 was not only downloading but set to install over my current Win 7 Pro machine

When Win10 is downloaded via updates in Win 7 Pro...will it automatically install or do I have the option to postpone the install after Windows update downloads the 10 installer ?

I am going to change a lot of hardware and don't want Win 10 installed until all new (MB, Memory...etc) hardware is in the box ? Will the full Win 10 update files(s) just sit patiently on my Win 7 machine until I'm done with the hardware changes ?

Couple jpg's attached with info re my cancellation attempt...to wait until the new hardware is in box

    Thanks...TiminAz

You will be asked when you want to do the upgrade to Win 10.

You can follow KYHI's post here: Scared and Very Confused - Windows 10 to get rid of the Upgrade to Windows 10 then when your ready to do the upgrade after all hardware changes have been made, follow the directions here: Windows 10 - Upgrade Installation

Thanks...any problem with just 'hiding' the upgrade..? Does this look like the full Win 10 upgrade package attached based on file size ??

I don't know, sorry. Try it and see if that resolves the issue. From Kyhi's post you need to delete some files and folders as well.
