Please make a full backup first. Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect some people are having problems and I'm not going to install it right now.

Even if 20H2 was perfect, we recommend everyone make a full backup first.

Windows 10 update crashes File Explorer, causes black screen once you have your full backup, you don't have to worry about things like this, because you can restore your backup image generally in less than one hour.

I should add that I have installed 20H1 on multiple computers and am using it.

Create Bootable USB Flash Drive to Install Windows 10 option 1 is good once you have a backup made and want to install 20H2.

There are various serious bugs reported on the forum including an inability to do a repair install. I would wait a while until MS has solved these bugs.

20H2 is only a minor update to 2004, you should install 2004, wait another 4 to 5 or months before installing 20H2

There`s no reason to rush it.

I've only just this week updated my PCs to v2004 which appears quite stable for me

Ya I`ve had it on a 850 Pro on the Z170 for about 2 months at least, it`s doing good.

I`ll image it to the 860 when the mood hits me.

At least since 20H2, on every boot, IIRC, AUDIODG.EXE always ends up being an app crash that you won't know about, unless you check the event log!

I keep getting this, despite zero signs of hardware corrupting Windows:

    Faulting application name: AUDIODG.EXE
Faulting module name: ntdll.dll (much of the time)
Exception code: 0xc0000374 (much of the time)
Fault offset: 0x00000000000ff099 (much of the time)

SFC and DISM show no lick of corruption!

And Windows 10 20H2 works well, been gaming a ton!

Looks like a bug that slipped through, maybe a "botch Tuesday", despite no Windows update failure.

More likely, it's something going on with the RealTek audio. Despite it's working fine!

This was a clean install that occurred on February 4, 2021, after replacing 1903 on the same USB stick with 20H2, which of course was wiped and repartitioned. The new Samsung 970 Pro 512 GB NVMe SSD, never had anything else on it.
