Window 10 black screen without cursor after login

So i tried updating my computer from windows 8 to 10 and last night and it froze at 75% and configuration settings 1%, i let it sit there all night but it still was at 75%. I had read that people where having the same problem and that itll revert to windows 8.1 after you reset it so i did. To my surprise it booted as windows 10 and allowed me to log in but after i logged in my computer black screened without a cursor. I reset it several times but the same problem kept occuring. Can someone please help I've been looking around for several hours now and havent found a solution. (I'm sorry in advance if this problems already been solved)

I had the same problem, I eventually stressed just about every fix I could and nothing worked. Giving up, I let my laptop sit while on for several hours overnight and it eventually loaded up on its own at some point. Might help, might not.
