    No rollback option.

I have a few issues with the Windows 10 install on my Asus X200 laptop and want to rollback to Win 8.1.

However, when I go into Settings/Update and Security/Recovery the only 2 options I have are 'Reset this PC' and 'Advanced setup'. The 'Go Back to Windows 8.1' option is not there.

Is the only option a reinstall of 8.1 from the USB backup I made?

    Is this a known issue?

    TIA

If you click on the Advanced options isn't there another option to prior version ? Also since your original system is preinstall OS I believe that option will also work but that option will bring your system back to factory setting, the same way it was when you first bought it

No, I can restore from USB, but no rollback. I guess I'll just do the 8.1 reinstall and wait for MSFT to tell me I can upgrade rather than installing the ISO

Not usb ... If you left click the start and select Settings follow by the Update & Security windows, then click Recovery which you will see Advanced, click that and afterwards wait until it does its things. Then do the following click troubleshoot follow by advanced option again, then afterwards you will have other options to perform
