Successful laptop install of Windows 10

I successfully completed an upgrade install of Windows 10 on a Toshiba Satellite L775 this evening. It took 6 hours total, including hours of watching and waiting, but everything that I've tried so far has worked. I just wanted to post this because we all curse Microsoft from time to time. Two points of advice: 1. be patient, 2. when it's done, it might not tell you. I waited 1 1/2 hours for some notification. It never came. Finally, with minimal disk activity showing, I physically shut down, waited a bit, and restarted. When it came back up, it ran through its list of "Setting up. . .,"Taking care. . . ," "Let's Start," "Adding features . . ," So far, I'm thrilled. I know, I'm lucky (but not usually).

It appears I have similar laptop (Toshiba L775-12F PSK3WE). Please, let me know, didn't you experience keyboard problem like this: TOSHIBA: Satellite L775-11N - Uprgade Windows 10 - FN key problem - TOSHIBA FORUM ? This topic is about slightly different model, but I fear I may come across it too. What is exact model of your laptop? Thank you.

Hi I too have Toshiba laptop and have had no keyboard problem.
If you are did Toshiba not upgrade your BIOS and keyboard driver.
Mine was done just before I upgraded to 10 from 8.1
Then once upgraded Toshiba then ran a check and finished updating my laptop
Mine was done via the Toshiba Service Station

My laptop is Satellite L775-S7105. Windows 10 is still running satisfactorily, but it is slow, very slow.
