windows 10 upgrade from 8.1 Problem

ive tried upgrading through windows update - installation got to 100% then it rebooted back to 8.1 ....

Ive used the ISO creator and tried to upgrade - gets to 100% then says "installation failed"...

Ive disabled my nvidia video card - uninstalled antivirus - turned off firewall and still get "installation failed"

Ive tried changing the language settings to US and setting timezone ahead and still the same thing...

Can anyone suggest anything else? i do not know what the error is as it wont tell me.

My laptop has over 500gb of free space and its an i7 with 8gb ram.

    Please help if you can......

W10 Insider Prev upgrade to Win10 full vs of W7/8 upgrade to W10
Read somewhere that the latest Win 10 Insider Prev will be upgrades to Win 10 full when it is released. A good idea to install this sooner rather than upgrading Win 7 / 8.1 to 10?
