    Clean install now possible?

    Hi Guys,
I upgraded from Windows 8 Pro to Windows 10 Pro using the Media Creation Tool method. Can I now follow Brink's tutorial for a clean install, or did I have to use the Get Windows 10 App for a clean install to work?

Yes, you can now clean install if you have performed an upgrade install and are activated in Windows 10.

Yes you can do clean install :)

But I suggest you to wait for 1 - 2 days ,Because a lot of people have a problem with the keys even if they upgrade from windows 7 or 8.1 it look like the problem is from Microsoft server :/

Took me about 24 hours to get activated after the upgrade.

Okay, thanks for the answers. I thought I might have a problem activating Windows, but it actually tells me "Windows is activated", which is good.

You'll want to find out what your new key is. Mine changed upon upgrading.

Key's do not matter any longer. You never have to enter a key again.
It is stored along with all the other info. about you 'puter on the MS server's.

Oh, so if I were to do a clean install at a later point (on the same machine), I won't be prompted for a key??

    No, you will not.
Since you did the upgrade the proper way, you won't have a problem.
