Try installing Windows 10 using the media creation tool. I've heard that it also works if you didn't even reserve your copy when the Get Windows 10 notification showed up!
And here's how to uninstall log-me-in.

    Tony,

If you like, you can still do what I posted for the Media Creation Tool to upgrade to the free Windows 10. :)

I have done it on two boxes and it never asked me for a key. If you do a clean install it may ask you for a key. If you install to a blank drive or one without a proper OS it will ask you for a key which has to be purchased.

It won't ask you for a key if you upgrade to Windows 10 from an activated Windows 7/8.1.
