Black vertical line on my Lenovo y700 14 inch laptop.

Yesterday, I saw a black vertical line appeared on my laptop. First, I thought the screen was broken, but I realized it has something to do with the graphics card. I see the black line appear when ever I look at something blue on the screen. It looks like this:

I first restarted my laptop thinking it would go away but it didn't. Then, I updated my OS and all my drivers yet nothing happened.

I even did a reset of my laptop and still I see the same thing.

    Could someone please help me.

    OS: Windows 10 home
    CPU: i7 6700hq
    RAM: 16 gb
Graphics card: AMD Radeon R9 M375 and Intel HD graphics 530

During bootup there is a key press that gets one into the BIOS or a screen with choices. Check one of those to see if the line is NOT there, if so could be the video adapter driver in Windows. If the line is there before you load Windows it probably is a hardware issue. Some Notebooks have an on-the-motherboard inverter connecting to the LCD Flat Panel but others have a small printed circuit card interface between the motherboard and the panel. The small one is not hard nor expensive to replace but usually the one on the motherboard requires a new motherboard. If the Notebook is 3 years old or older it usually is more cost-effective to just replace it and get a new warranty. I've done both methods for clients so it's their choice.
