Can't extend display onto second monitor, black screen

I have two BENQ GL2250 monitors connected to my Lenovo H535s via VGA. On bootup the Lenovo logo displays on monitor #2, and not on monitor #1. Then my usual display comes up on monitor #1 and monitor #2 goes to sleep.

Tried HDMI leads too and a combination of HDMI+VGA, still having the same issue. Drivers are up to date according to AMD software. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

Are you in Extend mode? Windows logo key + P select Extend.

OK, I had to ask the obvious to rule it out. If you go to Settings > System > Display, does it show both monitors? What happens when you click Identify or Detect? Also check Device manager and have a look in "Monitors". See if one has a yellow ! or RED X. The BIOS post showing on the other monitor is normal. I run triple displays and my BIOS Post screen shows on my monitor labeled no 2. The Windows LOG also. Once my desktop loads all 3 screens become active. If I set my display mode to PC only, the boot up shows on monitor no 2, then jumps over to no 1 when my desktop loads. Like yours is doing now. The Video card decides which monitor the BIOS and boot screen shows up on.

Forgot to tell you to make sure that each one is set to the correct resolution.
