Thanks Kbird i will try this tonight.

As i work in a large PC part retailer (Aria) i have brought it in and done some testing on test benches.

9/10 it seems to be working fine.

Currently 1920x1080 but once it is working i will be aiming for 2K which i achieved on my SLI 660ti's

Believe it or not the issue was the cables. I had 3 Display port to display port cables which worked perfectly fine on my old 660ti's. I thought this could have been an issue so i bought a new HDMI to DP 1.1. Turns out the 1.1 is the issue.

After taking my GPU into work and it working fine with a cable i used there i decided to that that cable home to try. It worked......

SO if anyone else has issues with GTX 1070 please try:

Make sure you PCIE slots are set to "Gen 3" in the Bios and also make sure you have up to date cables!

Thanks for all the help guys!

    Thanks for reporting back

I didnt realise you were using DP on your 660ti too , I just assumed DVI on cards that old . I have seen Cable version issue with HDMI Cables before but not with Displayport.

and a reminder to Others to check you monitor's Menu's for a Display Port version choice too , like I have on my Benq 3200BPT 1.1 vs 1.2

Check our Motherboard Manual , I think mine is in the System Agent>NorthBridge Area , you may also have the GPU Post info screen which will tell you what GPU is install and the X(mode) eg 8 or 16 etc it is in.

Thanks. I look into the manual. Weird, cause I don't have System Agent. I have the screen with the GPU info, but that is it. I do not see anything else right now and I think I have looked every where in the BIOS.
