2 graphics cards - use only 1 as default

    hey guys,
i have a new laptop with 2 graphic cards - the first one is INTEL HD GRAPHICS 520 and the other is NVIDIA 940MX.
i changes some settings i need to know if i do it right and how can i know if the nvidia is the default and not the intel.

    this the the graphic cards,
    http://prntscr.com/byht20

this is the settings i chooses in the nvidia control panel (its was auto select)
    http://prntscr.com/byht5r

but in the adapter type its shows me the intel,
    http://prntscr.com/byhtex

so how do i know if the nvidia is the default graphic card?
and which settings do i need to change to make it happen?

    Thanks!

I would think that choice needs to be made in your BIOS. Unfortunately, I don't know what graphics options are available in your specific BIOS (ie, dedicated, unique PCI-e, or shared) so I can't tell you which one to select and I'm not sure if you just want to use one (or both if possible).

I have a Surface Book and it has the Intel integrated graphics and a Nvidia card. I go into the Nvidia Control Panel where it allows me to set the default graphics and also it allows me to set the default for each application. So I set Intel as the default and each app that could use the graphics boost I default to Nvidia.

Also I created the Nvidia Control Panel shortcut of the desktop.

Download GPU-Z from here, and that will give you the answer.
