Sapphire AMD Radeon R9 380 Nitro

A couple of hours ago I installed a new driver they told me about. I decided to play FC2 and was going along when 'black screen' and sound locked. So I had to crash pc out of it, task manager said it wasn't there. I rebooted and some text came up - starting 'watch dog' and other information, creating 'key list' etc. The pc went to black screen and nothing, rebooted again and it worked. Rolled back driver to Dec 2015 and pc ran again. This is the second time the driver has screwed up the graphics. It might even have been the same upgrade.

Have you tried the same driver but using a driver cleaner in safemode before install? It may not help but its worth a try , just so you know NVidia drivers are alot worse recently

Right now I m not sure what is going on, only a few mins ago, I booted up and my log in screen came up, I 'signed in' and - nothing. Black screen but the HDD was flickering away. I tried again and eventually got a blue screen with 'please wait' and then desktop as normal.

I had not been reading the Nvidia posts so was not aware of the problems. Seems to be something been going on for a long time, as I had problems with NVidia and as long ago as 5-6 years, maybe more. With my seemingly small problems by comparison, I begin to suspect some incompatibility between cards and win 10?
