    Windows apps use Nvidia GPU

I have switchable integrated Intel HD video/Nvidia GeForce 840M. Recently I noticed that my Nvidia GPU is used even without any apps started. It turned that it is used by Windows apps like Phone Companion, Store, Mail etc. It is really disturbing, because my battery life is reducing significantly. Also, it's just weird. Any ideas?

Every app uses your gpu? What do you mean exactly?

Four exact default Windows applications: Store, Phone Companion, Mail and Groove Music.

Checked it out first, can't even see those apps there. I also tried setting integrated videocard as default - it didn't help.
