Is there no Nvidia control panel with the new drivers? If so how do you remove the entry in the windows control panel? Also how do you remove from the desktop right click context menu?
Always a control panel, do not think can remove entry in control panel for windows, but from NVIDIA control panel if select Desktop on menu bar, uncheck it, this will remove it from the context menu when right clicking desktop screen.

Further investigation shows this error in the reliability graph (Contol Panel > Security and Maintenance > Maintenance > Reliability History) shows it was during todays driver installation of latest 7 Oct Driver. It hasnt happened since so it must have been while the installation was removing the control panel. Anyway monitoring for stability.

I just downloaded the new driver myself have to try it, but not sure what you meant by no NVIDIA control panel anymore or does not show. Look at Event Viewer as see errors from past to. Custom then Administrator Events look though middle list.
