Maybe the thing with the driver and the card can be explained with a comparison or an allegory:

A driver is to a graphics card what it is to a car:

Let's say you have a Mercedes 190 SL. This is your car. Now the driver can be you yourself, or your brother can be the driver or your sister can be the driver. The car still stays a 190 SL, but the driver is different.
And it's the same for a graphics card: The card is a HD 4600, but the driver may have the "name" (version number) 2342 or 4229 or anything else.

9.18.10.3272 is the old driver Lenovo were using for their Thinkpads

Try this one direct from intel as it is for the HD4600 and Windows 10 (no guarantee it will improve things though:

Your current version 9.18.10.3272 is from summer 2013.

This driver includes support for the new Microsoft Windows® 10 operating system and adds new Windows 10 features.
    OS: Windows® 10, 64-bit
Sounds like it is exactly what you want.

I just downloaded and installed that new graphics software. It does not fix the problem. I still can't use the overlay editor.
Maybe I have to look for another one. And yet it worked so well in Win7 Pro.

    • What overlay editor are you using?
    • Are there any other graphics related issues or does the problem only manifest itself when you try and use the overlay editor?
    • Maybe the overlay editor is out of date. Have you checked?

Edit: Or maybe the overlay editor has software dependency that has not been installed.

    Hi,

The one that comes standard with the TH2 upgrade is version 20.19.15.4285.
In my case this is for a Pro version of Win 10, Intel I7 4790K CPU with HD4600 GPU.

Absolutely stable so far. Haven't found it available for download but it should be on your system if you're running TH2.

    Cheers,
