    AMD Radeon Control Panel Question

I am relatively new to Radeon, I've always used nVidia, but with how things are shaping up for Team Green, decided to try a Radeon card, and got a RX 6800xt card. But I am having a bit of a time trying to figure out how to control the RGB lighting on the card itself. On my old nVidia 1070 Ti I used the Corsair ICue software and it worked pretty good. But not so with this RX 6800 xt card. I can't seem to get the edge light to switch off, the one that says in pure white light "Radeon RX 6800 XT" on one side and "XFX" on the other. Running Adrenaline version 22.11.2 as that is what a friend recommended saying there is an annoying bug in the 23.9 version. Oh and Windows version 22h2 (OS Build 19045.3324) .

Ummm. You may not be able to turn off those LEDs. After all, they are advertising...

On my ASUS Nvidia card, there is a utility to control the lights on the card, and sadly, the name escapes me at the moment. However, when I had my old Radeon card, I can't recall any setting in the control panel to turn off the lights, but that is maybe because my card didn't have lights to turn on and off.

Have you checked with XFX to see if they have a downloadable utility to do this? They just might...

[EDIT] I just checked and they don't seem to. I don't think you can turn that off unless there is some hidden setting in the control panel that you haven't found. I suspect that you have looked pretty thoroughly.

Wish I had a better answer for you.

    OpenRGB

Look into this software before use because it can cause problems if you don't know what to do. I would recommend reading on their discord first.

I mentioned this to someone else that blindly used it without research and they tried to blame me for bricking their motherboard RGB
There is nothing wrong with the software you just need to look up on it first because some hardware it does not work well with.

While I have an AMD GPU, mine is not RGB, so I can't tell you how this works, but see this video...
