My second monitor (Displayr 1) stopped working in digital mode. Analog mode is hooked up to security system and is okay. I've checked wiring and it appears to be okay. Display Fusion is my software and their help forum says that I must have a hardware problem. W10 settings says that the monitor is not active.
How do I reactivate display 1 or check my monitor to see if it's really the problem?
Couple of things to check for:
1) Go into your video card settings and make sure audio for HDMI isn't being used. I don't remember the name. Unless of course your monitor is your primary sound device... (Looking at the specs it's just DVI)
2) Go into the monitor settings on the physical monitor and make sure it's using the proper digital or analog output, etc.
Go to Windows search and enterdxdiag. See if there are any problems.
Thanks for your suggestions. I don't know why I lost my second monitor, but I was able to get it back by updating my video card and using the Nvidia control panel.
