Daisychain monitors work in duplicate not extend mode

Hi,

I am trying to daisychain from my dell g3 15 3590 laptop to a Dell U2715h monitor via USB c to display port. From here the monitor goes out to a Dell U2713hm monitor via dp port on the U2715h. Effectively I have 3 monitors. However, Windows 10 Enterprise only detects the laptop and one other screen. The displays on the 2713hm is duplicate of the 2715h. The laptop has a 1650 card in it. Any ideas why it doesn't work and how to make it work?

It's because they are daisy chained. The computer will only see the first monitor in the chain. If you want triple or more monitors, you'll have to go through a docking station.

I see. I will use different cables to the laptop then.
