    DVI-D and VGA (analogue)
    C624BQ | Monitors | ASUS Global
    Signal Input : D-Sub, DisplayPort, DVI-D

I have checked now and neither of those monitors can be daisy chained - they only have INPUTS - so you are back to what I mentioned far earlier in the thread.
    ONE HDMI
    ONE USB-C
    LAPTOP screen

and from the USB some manner of splitter/dock for two monitors as previously discussed.
    BUT NOT monitor to monitor.

    Re this

I was never in any doubt that it was a laptop and I do not think Plankton was either

Hey thanks for the response. Okay so none of these monitors can be daisy chained. But besides a docking station... is there any other option? On another forum, someone said you could use a usb a 3.0 to usb-c adapter and that would work. Im confused how it would work though because they say i use the usb-c to displayport with the new monitor...

but how would i connect the other two monitors then with just that adapter?

Question: You say you travel and need the laptop....totally understand that. What I don't understand; are you going to be taking the 3 monitors with you.....I think not.

That said....my suggestion for a tower/desktop (one and the same) for you home use that has a GPU that can handle 3 monitors.

As for the price for the Dell monitor docking station.....it cost's that much as it's a generic/simple little GPU as it has hardware and firmware to operate. So for a $150 it's not a bad price.

Now, there is an alternative but it's much more expensive. There's a thing called a laptop GPU caddy/dock.You buy a regular GPU for a desktop PC, and a PSU, insert GPU in caddy and then plug in caddy to laptop and your off and running but at a considerable cost. it's not pretty either but gets the job done.

Okay well when i say travel... i meant i use my laptop when im out of the US almost always. So when im outside the US... which is the majority of the time, I have my monitors in the apartment etc. So i use my dell laptop while connnected to it. Of course when im back in the US... my monitors are in my old apartment outside the US.

Well i dont want any kind of desktop computer at all. The issue is a few reasons. Electronics here are extremely expensive. So when i buy electronics, i try to buy them when i visit the US before i come outside the US again. But not only that... many times its hard to find certain products here.

So right now... i mentioned... i have two monitors and use them with usb-display port with one monitor and hdmi to hdmi with the other. But i bought a new big monitor so want a way to connect all three of them etc. Someone said i could do this with a usb a 3.0 to usb-c adapter. They said that would work and is the cheapest way.

I have been trying to help you as much as possible, but we are beginning to go round in circles
I thought I had explained daisy chaining in detail. I said, to daisy chain two monitors, ONE monitor must have PORT IN and PORT out. To daisy chain three monitors, two of them must have PORT IN and PORT OUT and those ports must be display ports.
I also sent you a link with a diagram.

AS neither of your existing monitors have both ports IN and ports OUT, then to use one of the existing ones as you are doing on the HDMI, you say, then the new one you were going to buy must have, as I explained display port IN and display port OUT. That would connect to the USB - display port in. as one of the existing monitors does now, and then the display port OUT on the new monitor would connect to the existing monitor.

HOWEVER the monitor you have bought as per my link to the actual Samsung site and the user manual - does NOT have a port OUT so it cannot be daisy chained.

It has - as you will see if you read specs and manual on the links I provided =
    Inputs
    TWO HDMI
One is HDMI 1.4 and one is HDMI 2.0

    ONE Display Port
    Version 1.2

Display port 1.2 is a little old now - but it will work for daisy chaining = not that this is relevant now, unless you can return the SAMSUNG and buy a monitor with PORT IN and PORT OUT
    DisplayPort - Wikipedia.

So the answer to your latest question is
    1. I have NO idea what the person who advised you
Someone said i could do this with a usb a 3.0 to usb-c adapter. They said that would work and is the cheapest way.
has in mind, but it is of course your decision as to which advice you follow.

    2. Presuming you are NOT going to change the recent purchase of the Samsung monitor then with ONE connected HDMI as you have now.
The new one the Samsung and the Asus with the display port MAY work if you use something such as this
i-tec USB-C to Dual Display Port Video Adapter, 2x: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

    3. NOTE PLEASE
I cannot assure you it will work. I doubt if anyone can provide an assurance that you can run the three monitors and get good results.

    4. OR as mentioned a LOT earlier in the thread you buy something similar to the Dell dock but at less expense.

Hi. I received my monitor the samsung 32' uj590 4k monitorand im having issues right now with the setup. I unplugged both of my monitors from my laptop.

I used the usb-c to display port cable that was connected from my laptop to the asus monitor... and used that to connect to the samsung 32' 4k monitor.

    Now my issues are this.

My other 2 cables are usb-c to hdmi and hdmi to hdmi. So i just want to right now just connect one of my two 24' 1920x1200 monitors to my laptop. Thus try using the 32' 4k and one of my 24' 1920x1200 monitors. I prefer to use the asus one since its a bit better. But apparently.... i cannot connect my laptop to it because the only cable would be hdmi to hdmi and my asus monitor does not have HDMI?

It's Asus C624BQ. I checked and apparently it has no hdmi port?

So that mean if i want to use a 2nd monitor... i have to use the samsung syncmaster right? But the issue is this. When i connect hdmi to hdmi to it like I do normally... it doesn't even work. But not only that... my samsung 32' 4k monitor turns off? Is there an issue with both of these external monitors having different resolutions?

Right now im confused why does my monitor 24' 1920x1200 samsung syncmaster not work? Basically the moment i connect hdmi to hdmi with my 24' 1920x1200 samsung syncmaster to it... my samsung 32' 4k monitor immediately turns off and has a blue light blinking. But the moment i unplug the hdmi to hdmi from the 24' samsung.... then unplug the usb-c to displayport from my laptop and immediately plug it back in... my 32' 4k monitor works.

I can't imagine you can't use two different external monitors with different resolution right? This one is 4k so 3840x2160 and the other is 1920x1200.

So i just tested my old monitor by itself just in case. I unplugged the usb c to display port cable from the new monitor... and only connected my hdmi to hdmi cable with my old monitor. The old monitor works with no issue.

But when i connect the usb-c to display port cable back into my laptop when the hdmi to hdmi with the older monitor is still connected... immediately the old monitor goes no signal and nothing shows up on the new samsung monitor?

Do you know what the issue is here? I can't imagine you can't use two different monitors with two different resolutions right? Again, im using usb-c to display port with the new monitor... and the hdmi to hdmi port with my old monitor like i did before.
