    from version 457.xx +
a little flicker started to appear, and random crashes.game = Genshin Impact

I will test this new version and see if it occurs.

I see there are reports on the r455 drivers causing flickering, but this is with a small few Gsync/Gsync-compatible monitors. If you can reproduce the crash and send it to Nvidia, that can help them getting it fixed faster. Display Driver Feedback Form

I think I'll wait until I'm notified by Nvidia.

Two new open issues for driver 457.30

    • PC may BSOD upon waking from sleep when manually adjusting fan speed [3173027]
    • Some users may experience random TDR while playing back a video in a web browser [3171517]

Users who can reproduce the timeout detection & recovery issue or black screen with browsers, follow this step to report it:

We would appreciate it if users facing this issue with our recent R455 drivers, if they would be willing to capture a full dump file and send it to us. Since users mentioned that the bug does not seem to leave any dump files, we will need you to do a few steps first:

    1. Enable full dmp files by running the registry file fulldump.reg from the URL below: https://nvidia.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/fulldump.reg
    2. Download and then run the registry file TdrLevel1.reg from the URL below to change the level of recovery: https://nvidia.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/TDRLevel1.reg
    3. Reproduce the browser black screen/TDR issue again on your PC
    4. On your keyboard, press the Windows key and the letter "R" at the same time to bring up the Run command window. Type the following into the Open field:

      %LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps

Then press the OK button to proceed.

    5. This will open the folder location where the dmp file should be located (if you see multiple files, it will be the file with the most recent date.
    6. Right-click over the file -> select "Send to" from the context menu -> choose "Compressed (zipped) folder" to zip the file to a smaller file size.
    7. Upload the zipped file to a file sharing service such as Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive and then email me a link to download the file to driverfeedback@nvidia.com. Please describe which browser you were using and the behavior you saw.
    8. Last but not least, in your email, please also email me your MSINFO32 file as described in the FAQ below so we have a basic idea of your system specs: How to generate a Microsoft System Information report (MSINFO32) | NVIDIA
