Anyone Using A Radeon 4850 with Win 10?

My father has a Compaq PC running Win 8.1 right now. He is unable to upgrade to Win 10 due to his onboard Nvidia 6150 SE Geforce 430 graphics chip. I have a spare Palit Radeon 4850 video card I was going to ship to him for use in his system. He wants to try Win 10 really bad as he hates Win 8.1. He lives about 300 miles away so I can't just drive over and install it.
Is anyone running Win 10 using a Radeon 4850? Win 10 install keeps telling him his onboard video chip won't work with Windows 10. If this card will allow him to install Windows 10 I want to send it to him. Thanks.

Not quite that old, but I run one machine with a 5770. Looks
    like it is.

The only problem he will run into is the drivers, the latest 15.7.x only support the HD5xxx series and up:

AMD Catalyst™ 15.7 Driver for Windows® Release Notes

He may be able to get it working with an older driver, he will just lose out on DX12 support.

Thank you so much for the help. And I know my father appreciates it too.
