Exactly. A large portion of the people complain anytime something changes, while another large portion would complain if nothing changes, claiming that Microsoft isn't innovating.

That's why the we see the needless array of people creating threads just to say they don't like 10. Some people just won't adjust to anything new.
You hit the nail right on the head. If someone has a legitimate issue and needs help that's one thing. But if someone makes an account just to complain.. well I think it's silly but heck.. it's their right.

Sounds like a good thread for the 'Chill Out Room' - "Why Did You Join tenforums.com?"

I am old and I don't mind change, I have had every new OS since W 98 and except for ME they were improved. There needs to be more benefits to the change than I found with W 10. I don't like not having control of the updates or being unable to stop some of the privacy problems. I did not see anything better than W 7 or W8.1 so I went back. I even bought a new Windows 8.1 desktop so when my W 7 dies, I won't have to buy one with W 10 during my lifetime. I have that one set up now and I am very comfortable with it.

no control over updates? I can get updates in settings in updates/security. All switches are in there. I have not used it because as far as I am concerned all updates must have a reason !! And sp1 is due out next month.

As far as I know, there aren't any service packs with Windows 10... they're service releases, which are cumulative... however, I don't like having updates automatically downloaded and installed... the only option I really have is preventing my computer from automatically restarting.
