I was amazed. I got up at 1 a.m.--I'm old--and I turned on the computer without much hope but I was asked if I wanted to install Windows 10. Forty-five minutes later I was running. Not a single glitch. Not a single problem.

So, far I'm very happy with Windows 10 and I've returned to Chrome instead of Microsoft Edge.

Install seemed to go fine but I cannot get my Chrome browser to load any pages. Have tried reinstalling Chrome but that did not help.

I downloaded the W10 Pro ISO and did an update to my W8.1 Pro with it and took 40min from start to Logon.
So far everything is working fine. One minor glitch with my Epson V300 scanner but it does work.

Mine said that Windows 10 failed to upload...oh well. lol

Is there a way to try again?
Try this: Windows 10 media creation tool
If you need to install or reinstall Windows 10, you can use the tools on this page to create your own installation media using either a USB flash drive or a DVD.
Installing Windows 10 using the media creation tool - Windows Help

There are two options on the utility screen
    O Upgrade this now PC

O Create installation media for another PC
See Windows 10 ISO Download - Windows 10 Forums for instructions on how to create and use the install media

Upgraded with no issues apart from activation, which is a server side issue.

Same here Updated and then make a clean install from USB key, everything find except activation problems. Microsoft support told me the problem is from there side. Have to wait few days to be back to normal

Installed 10 on the HP desktop this morning via invitation. Installing on my gaming laptop now via the media creation tool as I hadn't received a notification yet and I'm too impatient. :)

You dearly hope that it is simply a MS server issue and not a "I did a Win10 upgrade without MS's permission and MS will never activate it" issue. No one knows if this is the case. Yes, a MS support person said it was their problem, but until it actually activates, it is YOUR problem. Otherwise, install your old OS, do ALL the updates to get the upgrade icon back, then wait once again for MS to properly OK your upgrade. Me, I will wait, thanks.
