Okay, so I'm adding this for you who cannot enter safe mode.

    Solution:

You can check five possible solutions to this problem here: http://www.7tutorials.com/5-ways-boo...s-8-windows-81

It is designed for Windows 8.1 but works on Windows 10.

Also, I especially recomend the second way, which involves:

1.- Holding shift in the main screen (this one).

2.- Press the Power Button and click on Restart (all this whit the Shift key held). It will take you to the recovery screen after a few seconds.

3.- After this, you just continue in the steps I posted before.

    Freezing

    Colin said:
I followed Kanzuri's fix and it worked perfectly! However, having been listening to my music for about an hour, my laptop has now frozen completely - a black screen with no mouse. The only sign of life is that the keys are still illuminated. The only solution I have is to power off/on. I've done this a couple of times with the same result. I can only assume there's still something wrong with the display driver.

If anyone else is having this problem and has fixed it, please let me know asap!
I haven't run into any freezing yet on my one but I did a few more things after the graphics card drivers.

I manually searching for Windows 10 drivers for all the software devices not installed in Device Manager (rather than just installing the Windows 8.1 Dell ones. The main one I came across that might help was a Lenovo Windows 10 Driver for Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework you can download here ...
    Intel Platform Device Driver for Windows 10 (64-bit), 8.1 (64-bit) - ThinkPad 8 - Lenovo Support (US)

This is only from memory but I'm fairly certain it was the one I used. I was able to get Windows 10 drivers for everything except Intel Chipset, but I downloaded the latest 8.1 drivers from the Intel website (released in June 15) not the ones from Dell's Windows 8.1 section (released last year).

Hopefully that helps with any crashing.

I too upgraded my Dell Computer to win 10 , and had crashes every 5 minutes ............... in the end I went to windows repair and recovery and on recovery I clicked restore to previous version (Win. 8.1 ) . It did crash shortly after I pressed reset and I was wondering if anything would load but luckily it said restoring to older version and 10 minutes later I am back with a working computer and it will be a long time before I UPDATE AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I solved the video driver problem. But my wifi is still very slow, and I cannot change my screen brightness. Also when the laptop go in to sleep mode, I can't wake it up, and the screen stays black....

Great information, got my machine back on track, but after installing the AMD driver, the Intel driver reported problems, and it shifted into a slightly cropped mode. Had to update the Intel driver to fix it. Now we'll see if everything stays stable for awhile.
So, a couple of days later and everything continues to run great.

For some reason, all my other computers are still waiting for Microsoft's OK to update, even though I registered them long before this Inspiron 15, which I just got last week.

Same problem here. Any time the screen turned off at all, even just closing the lid (and not having it go to Sleep when lid is closed) would cause me to have to hard-reset it. I ended up going back to Windows 8.1 for a third time now. I can't use a laptop that needs to be hard-reset like that constantly and doesn't allow me to change the brightness. WTF is going on..

Dell Inspiron 7548 - Internal Power Error

Try RDP to your notebook to resolve the Rebooting Issue.

Upgraded from windows 8.1 to win 10. Login and same issue every few minutes like the rest, it will reboot with Internal Power Error. Previously, I have Remote Desktop Access enable and I can remote into my notebook without any issue. I can work for 20 minutes. The reboot did happened again but managed to work longer when I remote in from another pc. I did a few uninstall of some applications. Restart the pc when prompted. I also managed to update some device drivers by going through Device Manager > right click on some of the device and update drivers. Afterwards, I login to the notebook physically and problem seem to be resolved. Sound driver updated before sound can come through.

Firstly, I do not want to refresh my PC as all applications installed will be wiped off except the data.
I have uninstalled the following application during remote access to resolve the Internal Power Issue:
    7Zip
    Foxit Reader
    VirtualBox
    VMware Workstation
    Citrix GoToAssist
    Mozilla Browser
    Apple Quicktime
    Apple Itune
    Clover
    Classic Shell

For Brightness always bright and no brightness slider in Power Options.
Originally in Windows 8.1 no problem.
Finally found the issue is due to the Generic Monitor - Generic PnP Monitor is disabled.
To resolve, Go Device Manager -> Monitors -> Right click on Generic PnP Monitor and select Enable.
Once you enabled it - you will get back your brightness slider

    Some outstanding issues still exist
-Cannot right click on the Taskbar Icon - Worked once a while :)
Maybe Clover and Classic Shell for WIndows 10 installed in my Dell

    Hi guys,

I had this same problem, I did something that I think it might have resolved the problem.

of course I have disabled the amd card otherwise it would restart constantly.
i downloaded intel driver update utility 2.2, scanned the device and updated the intel graphics.
then I downloaded chipset software installation utility and updated the chipset, (restart pc)

    Intel Download Center

after that i downloaded latest amd drivers from amd.com, installed them and restarted the pc.

It hasn't crashed since. try it and let me know if it works
